Welcome to everyone who signed up for the Speculative Fiction Reading Challenge!
This is post where you can link up your reviews posted on your blogs in March 2011 to be in with a chance of winning the second prize pack.
The prize pack this month consists of: Shadow's Son by Jon Sprunk, Lonely Werewolf Girl by Martin Millar and Elves: Once Walked With Gods by James Barclay.
All of the reviews you post to Mr Linky below will equate to an entry into the prize draw.
Below is the link widget. Please make sure that your link goes directly to your review and not to your main homepage. Thanks! (This is not the post to use to sign up for the challenge. If you want to do that, please go HERE.)
Good luck to you all, and I look forward to seeing your reviews for March!

Oh, James Barclay has been on my WANT list for a little while now. :) Would be nice to win this prize pack. ;) Thank you! I got to go get reading. :)
ReplyDeleteGah, just finished The Quantum Thief, must post review as soon as possible (like after uni classes are done for the day)
ReplyDeleteGah! I forgot to post anything for February. Oh well, moving on to March.
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess it's useful that not only did I just finish my first book of the month earlier today, it's one that I only got at the start of the month... heh. Timing be shiny!
ReplyDeleteI do so like the look of those books, especially the Barclay... been considering getting a copy for myself for a while...
I missed posting Reviews for February but I should have a bunch for March!
ReplyDeleteYay, two reviews real quick, this makes me happy for March.
ReplyDeleteFirst review of the month! I should have another this month too, but april might be slow for me - exams.
ReplyDeleteTortall and Other Lands, the latest from Tamora Pierce. It's YA fantasy because YA fantasy is what I do.
Heh. Why do I foresee a lot of reviews for The Wise Man's Fear showing up here? :)
ReplyDeleteI just did my Deadhouse Gates review. I also did a review of Gardens of the Moon--although not for this month's reading.
ReplyDeleteNow I've got to gather my thoughts for The Crippled God review. I finished it on Saturday!
Just posted my "The Crippled God" review. It comes in three sections really. No spoilers, very minor and then minor. The minor ones are separated with a cut tag from my main page if anyone is really worried.
ReplyDeleteWell, since I totally forgot to post my links for January and February (despite writing reviews), here's an unusual one for March. I would say it has minor spoilers but, well, spoilers are pretty meaningless for this one.
ReplyDeleteFirst speculative fiction review of the month: Erikson's Deadhouse Gates (big surprise huh?).
ReplyDeleteHave already finished four more books, but still need to write up their reviews, so be back with more links soon!
Next one is Malinda Lo's Ash. Great re-imagining of the Cinderella fairytale!
ReplyDeleteJust posted my review for The Dark Griffin by K.J. Taylor.
ReplyDeleteThe book was so good! If you're a fan of epic fantasy or George R. R. Martin, definitely check it out. :)
- April
When I signed up for this challenge I thought I might struggle to read 12 SF books in the year but I'm halfway through already! Really enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteI finished my 12 but I will keep them coming!
ReplyDeleteAnother one, this time more of an urbanish fantasy, A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness :-)
ReplyDeleteFinally got the march review in. Whew. This month has just flown by!
ReplyDeleteAnd another one, this time more of a classic, Ursula Le Guin's The Earthsea Quartet :-)
ReplyDeleteFinally on the board for March! My review for Erikson's The Crippled God is finally up.
ReplyDeleteJust realized that having finished The Wise Man's Fear over the weekend, I've officially done my 12 books for the challenge.
ReplyDeleteNew review! It's Good Omens by Terry Pratchett/Neil Gaiman. A bit of an older book but it was new to me!
ReplyDeleteThat makes 5 for the year so far :) Also I've got to borrow a copy of The Wise Man's Fear soon.
And that's number four :) It may not be my most eloquent review ever, but I LOVED Zoo City, what a fabulous book!
ReplyDeleteSlowly trying to catch up on my reviews. Name of the Wind posted. Geez, Steve Halter, quit copying me. :p
ReplyDeleteJust reviewed The Griffin's Flight by K.J. Taylor. It was a really great sequel to The Dark Griffin and I can't wait to read The Griffin's War!
ReplyDeletelol--Salt-Man Z, I just read The Wise Man's Fear and posted that review. I guess we both noticed them at the same time.
ReplyDeleteSteve, I actually finished both TNotW and TWMF a couple of weeks ago, I've just been behind in my reviewing. :)
