Recently the Arthur Clarke award (go http://www.clarkeaward.com/ for more information) announced its shortlist and I am working my way through the six novels!)<br /><br />@WonderBunny - I'm sure there will be some people who say that the book is an easy read and very good fun, but I was not one of them unfortunately. I had heard of this one not long a...A fair review.<br /><br />I had heard of this one not long ago, (though I have no idea who Arthur Clarke is or why this was nominated for something in his name) and thought about picking it up as it didn't sound like a techno-babble, well not entirely, but it sounds like even if the techno-talk is left out, it's only being replaced by culture-babble.<br /><br />Cross off my list :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
